St. Matthew Catholic Church

CHURCH CAMP PACKING LIST:

- PERSONAL WATER BOTTLE. Make sure your name is on the bottle!

(This will be used for all meals and during trips to the lake/hiking).

- One plain white t-shirt for the Color War Game.

- GIRLS: one piece swimsuit or tank/t-shirt over two-piece (tank/t-shirt must stay on over two-piece)

- BOYS: tank/t-shirt with trunks (tank/t-shirt must stay on when swimming)

- Bring clothes for every day. (Pack an extra couple sets of clothes in case they are needed) (no revealing clothing or clothing with inappropriate logos/wording.

(Tops must be long enough that your stomach is not exposed at any time).

- Bible & Rosary

- Bring tennis shoes and extra pairs of socks (for hike to the cave).

- Bring flip flops for showering.

- Any required medications.

- Personal items such as bath towel & beach towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc. should be brought by each camper for personal use.

- Bring a trash bag for dirty clothes (they get stinky).

- Bug spray & sunscreen.

- Bedding for a twin mattress & pillow (sleeping bags are not recommended because they are dangerous to use for those sleeping on the top bunk in the cabins).

- Flashlight

- Spending Money for lunch on the way home Thursday, bus stops, and for any souvenirs or snacks at the pool/lake.

- Cell phones will be allowed in vehicles, during free time and in the cabins.

(No cell phones during Mass, Small Group Discussions, Lectio Divina, Adoration, or any other times of prayer). Inappropriate cell phone use will result in child being sent home, and parent(s) having to come to camp to pick them up that day.
